Wonderful World Fun Fold Card
The paper and stamps set from the Wonderful World Bundle are absolutely stunning and create the most amazing and beautiful cards. I haven’t had much time to play with this bundle yet but it is fast becoming one of my favorites. To highlight the beautiful flower stamp I created this simple fun fold card to show you today. This layout is so versatile you can use it with any stamp set and DSP you love.
Below are the list of supplies, measurements and instructions. I hope you enjoy making this card as much as I enjoyed creating it.
Supplies:
- Stamp Set: Wonderful World, Happiness Abounds
- Cardstock: Basic White, Starry Sky, Wonderful World DSP
- Ink: Memento Black; Starry Sky
- Stampin’ Blends: Dark Starry Sky
- Accessories: Pearl Basic Jewels; Stampin’ Dimensionals; adhesive of choice
Measurements:
- Starry Sky: 11” x 4 ½”; score at 5 ½’ then cut at 3” (this will be base for the front of the card
- Basic White: 3 ¾” x 2 ½”; 5 ¼” x 4” (inside of card)
- DSP: 2 pieces 4” x 2 ¼ ” (horizontal piece); 4” x 2 ¾”(vertical piece)
Instructions:
- Cut cardstock at 11” x 4 ¼” as mentioned in measurements and in the diagram above. Score at 5” and then cut at 3” (this piece which measures 4 ¼” x 3” will be used as the front layer on the card)
- Stamp the flower image in Starry Sky on the 3 ¾” x 2 ½” piece of Basic White cardstock
- With your bone folder or paper snips fray the edges of the stamped piece of cardstock to give it a vintage, distressed look (if desired)
- Stamp the flower image at an angle (some of the stamp on and some of the stamp off) the 5 ¼” x 4” Basic White piece of cardstock
- Stamp the sentiment near the top of the 5 ¼” x 4” Basic White cardstock centered in the middle
- Adhere the basic white cardstock to inside of the card
- Adhere the 4” x 2 ¼” piece of DSP to top panel of the card base
- Adhere the 4” x 2 ¾” piece of DSP to the 4 ¼” x 3” piece of cardstock that you cut from the front
- Adhere the 3 ¾” x 2 ½” stamped piece of Basic White cardstock to the layered piece of cardstock and DSP with dimensionals
- Adhere this entire layer to the front of the card
- Color three Pearl Basic Jewels with the Dark Starry Sky Stampin’ Blend and let dry; add jewels to card
